1. Supervision & Leadership

* Oversee daily site/workshop operations.

* Assign tasks and monitor worker performance.

* Ensure discipline and teamwork among staff.

2. Work Planning & Coordination

* Plan daily work schedules.

* Allocate manpower, tools, and materials.

* Coordinate between engineers, supervisors, and workers.

3. Quality & Safety

* Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and standards.

* Monitor quality of workmanship.

* Enforce health, safety, and environment (HSE) rules.

4. Progress Monitoring

* Track work progress against targets.

* Report daily/weekly updates to supervisors or project engineers.

* Resolve on-site issues to avoid delays.

5. Training & Guidance

* Guide technicians, fitters, and laborers on methods and standards.

* Mentor new workers.

6. Resource Management

* Maintain tools, equipment, and material inventory.

* Request additional resources when required.
