The Foreman - Mechanical (Pipeline) is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline mechanical systems, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety protocols. This role involves planning and coordinating daily tasks for the mechanical team, allocating resources efficiently, and monitoring work progress to uphold quality and productivity standards. The Foreman enforces strict health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment and reduce operational risks. In addition to field supervision, the Foreman acts as the primary liaison between pipeline technicians, engineers, quality assurance teams, and project managers. Responsibilities include reviewing technical documentation, addressing on-site challenges, and overseeing quality inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Strong leadership, technical knowledge, and effective communication skills are essential to deliver pipeline mechanical scopes on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline mechanical systems, ensuring activities align with engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks for the mechanical team, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor work progress to uphold quality and productivity standards.
  • Enforce strict health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment and reduce operational risks.
  • Act as primary liaison between pipeline technicians, engineers, quality assurance teams, and project managers.
  • Review technical documentation, address on-site challenges, and oversee quality inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Deliver pipeline mechanical scopes on schedule and within budget through strong leadership, technical knowledge, and effective communication.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in supervising pipeline mechanical installation and maintenance work
  • Strong understanding of pipeline systems, mechanical components, and construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Commitment to enforcing health and safety protocols on-site
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with technical teams and management
  • Experience in large-scale pipeline projects within oil & gas or utilities preferred
