Foreman/quality assurance officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Foreman/Team Leader to oversee site operations for joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily site activities, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters, installers, and laborers on-site.
• Read and interpret joinery/shop drawings and ensure proper execution as per design.
• Allocate tasks and monitor daily progress against project plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
• Maintain quality control and ensure proper finishing and alignment of joinery works.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Handle site materials, tools, and inventory efficiently.
• Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks.
• Solve on-site issues and escalate major concerns to management.
• Record daily site progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Foreman/Team Leader in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
• MUST be gents/male
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and installation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
