JOB DESCRIPTION: FORKLIFT OPERATOR

1. Purpose of the Job

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the warehouse or production area using a forklift. The role ensures proper storage, handling, and support to warehouse and logistics operations while maintaining safety standards.

2. Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesA. Material Handling

• Operate forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Ensure proper placement of goods in designated storage locations.

B. Loading & Unloading

• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries and dispatch shipments.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and logistics team during operations.

C. Warehouse Support

• Support store and warehouse teams in stock arrangement and organization.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Help in basic stock handling activities when required.

D. Equipment Safety & Maintenance

• Perform daily inspection of the forklift before use.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
• Ensure safe operation in compliance with company safety procedures.

E. Compliance & Safety

• Follow all health and safety regulations at all times.
• Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Ensure safe working practices to avoid accidents or injuries.

3. Qualifications and RequirementsEducation

• High School Certificate or equivalent

License

• Valid UAE Forklift Operator License (mandatory)

Experience

• No prior experience required
• Freshers are encouraged to apply

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Good physical fitness
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude

4. Reporting Line

• Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Store In-Charge

5. Working Conditions

• Warehouse, factory, or logistics environment
• May involve lifting, standing, and extended working hours
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor working conditions

6. Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work in shifts if required
• Flexibility to support operations during peak periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED1,500.00 per month
