Responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to support business planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights. We are hiring an FP&A analyst to own Muthol’s planning and performance cycle end-to-end and serve as the single point of financial accountability for the entity within group finance.
What will you own
- Develop and maintain robust financial models (3-statement models, forecasting, and budgeting), ensuring all outputs are accurate, traceable, and audit-ready, with full linkage to source data.
- Build detailed revenue, cost, and cash flow projections based on validated business assumptions, reflecting both run-rate operations and one-off events.
- Lead budgeting and rolling forecasting cycles, aligning entity-level submissions with group requirements, timelines, and formats.
- Deliver monthly performance reporting, including actuals vs. budget vs. prior period, with clear, actionable variance analysis suitable for senior management and CFO-level review.
- Prepare a comprehensive monthly management reporting pack, covering P&L performance, cost-ofrevenue build-up, balance sheet movements, and KPI dashboards, delivered on a fixed reporting calendar.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and stress testing to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis (e.g., profitability by contract/service line, supplier concentration, working capital trends) to support pricing, bidding, and investment decisions.
- Ensure transaction-level transparency by reconciling trial balance to general ledger analysis (supplier, PO, and journal level), with proper documentation of accruals, one-off items, and revenue recognition timing.
- Act as a business partner to operations, procurement, and strategy teams, translating operational activity into financial impact and challenging assumptions where required.
- Evaluate new projects, investments, and business cases through structured financial and commercial analysis.
- Automate and continuously improve financial models, reporting processes, and dashboards to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and executive dashboards for senior management, board-level reporting, and decision-making forums.
