FP&A & Costing Lead

Key Responsibilities

Costing & Financial Planning

  • Own and lead the full product costing framework (standard, actual, and rolling cost).

  • Drive FP&A activities: budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business partnering.

  • Conduct variance analysis (price, volume, mix, efficiency) and translate findings into actionable business insights.

  • Build and maintain financial models for scenarios, profitability, and capacity planning.

  • Lead continuous improvement in costing systems, processes, and automation.

Capital & Governance

  • Lead and review CAPEX planning, investment appraisal, and post-investment reviews.

  • Own cost governance, cost center structure, and allocation methodologies.

  • Oversee inventory valuation, WIP, and fixed assets from both strategic and control perspectives.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and corporate finance policies.

Reporting & Performance

  • Lead month-end close and management reporting for manufacturing performance.

  • Provide strategic insights to senior management through clear, data-driven communication.

Leadership & People Development

  • Manage and develop the costing / FP&A team, mentoring junior staff.

  • Lead recruitment, evaluation, and performance management of new hires in costing & FP&A.

  • Foster a strong business partnering mindset and coach the team to challenge operations with data.


SAP & Systems Expertise (Mandatory)

  • SAP CO: Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis.

  • SAP FI: GL, Assets, Inventory integration.

  • SAP MM / PP: Manufacturing & logistics integration.

  • Strong experience with reporting / BI tools (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Excel Power Query).


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.

  • Professional certification preferred (CMA).

  • 12+ years of experience in manufacturing finance.

  • Proven track record leading FP&A and Costing functions.

  • Prior people management and hiring responsibility required.
