About the Role
Responsibilities:
This is an exciting role and would entail you to
- Execute and support accurate, complete, and timely monthly close and reforecast procedures.
- Organize and prepare support schedules for intercompany and intracompany allocations,accruals, billing and corresponding journal entries.
- Prepare, review, and submit journal entries for monthly accruals, deferrals, prepayment tracking, intercompany allocation of revenue/expense and adjustments.
- Responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual financial planning and analysis for
- reforecasting deliverables. Investigate and prepare commentary and roll forwards.
- Upload financial data to various financial systems with appropriate attributes and tie out to source files. (e.g. OneStream/TM1 submissions).
- Ownership and coordination of Intercompany balance preparation and reconciliation between agencies.
- Liaison with Business Owners to manage preparation, update and review the respectiveforecast and budget.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and ad hoc reporting. Gather, extract, manipulate, analyze, and model financial data while ensuring data accuracy.
- Assist and prepare comprehensive and insightful monthly financial reporting to internal management.
- Download financial data from systems and transform/harmonize into various management reporting P&L formats with meaningful commentary.
- Work with FP&A Team to implement necessary reporting changes and TM1/OneStream efficiencies.
- Coordinate internal and external Audit support.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve. business/financial processes, accuracy and controls.

Background and Requirements

This may be the right role for you, if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Financing, Accounting, or equivalent (Post Graduate / Master’s degree a plus)
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with an understanding of accrual-based accounting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - this is a must!
- Strong Excel skills - Experience with modelling, Pivot tables, V-lookups and conditional formulas
- Experience working with larger data sets and reporting - must be detail oriented.
- Experience in Microsoft D365, IBM Planning Analytics, and Hyperion / OneStream preferred.
- Must be a mature, proactive self-starter, curious, a team player who takes ownership of responsibilities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to close out open items and meet deadlines proactively.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment - should be able to anticipate logical next steps and problem solve.
- Should be willing to work in 9:00am - 6:00pm (Est) hours and Willingness to work overtime around crucial deadlines.
