Fragrance Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fragrance Developer to design, develop, and refine fragrance formulations in line with market trends and brand requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of raw materials, fragrance composition, and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify fragrance formulations based on briefs and client requirements

Conduct fragrance evaluations, testing, and stability assessments

Research fragrance trends, raw materials, and competitor products

Collaborate with production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure product consistency

Maintain accurate documentation for formulations and development processes

Ensure compliance with IFRA guidelines, safety standards, and company policies

Support scale-up and production trials when required

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or certification in Perfumery, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred)

Proven experience in fragrance development or perfumery

Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials and blending techniques

Ability to evaluate scents with accuracy and consistency

Good communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and creativity

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of IFRA regulations and safety standards

Experience in fine fragrance, personal care, or home fragrance development

Familiarity with fragrance evaluation tools and documentation
