About the Role
The Franchise Sales Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to attract and engage potential franchisees. This role involves creating targeted marketing campaigns, managing lead generation initiatives, and collaborating with the franchise sales team to support the growth of the franchise network. The ideal candidate will have experience in franchise marketing, a strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing tactics, and a proven track record of driving franchise sales.
What You’ll Achieve
· Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote franchise opportunities and attract high-quality franchise candidates. Develop marketing plans that align with the company’s growth objectives and brand positioning.
· Design and execute lead generation campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising. Optimize campaigns to generate qualified leads and increase franchise inquiries.
· Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns targeted at potential franchisees. Monitor performance metrics, adjust strategies as needed, and report on campaign effectiveness.
· Develop engaging marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, and social media posts, to effectively communicate the benefits of franchising with Port of Subs. Ensure all content is aligned with the brand’s messaging and standards.
· Collaborate with the franchise sales team to support recruitment efforts. Provide marketing insights and materials to assist in converting leads into franchisees. Participate in franchise sales meetings and provide updates on marketing activities and outcomes.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities. Analyze data to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions to enhance franchise recruitment efforts.
· Assist with the organizing and managing franchise recruitment events, such as Discovery Days, webinars, and trade shows. Coordinate logistics, promote events, and ensure a positive experience for prospective franchisees.
· Maintain consistency of the brand’s image and messaging across all marketing channels. Ensure that all marketing materials and communications reflect the company’s values and enhance its reputation in the franchise community.
· Develop and manage the marketing budget for franchise sales activities. Track expenditures, assess return on investment (ROI), and ensure effective use of marketing resources.
· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to franchise sales marketing efforts. Provide regular updates to senior management and recommend improvements based on performance data.

Knowledge and Skills You’ll Need to Bring
· College degree and/or relevant work experience in business, digital engagement, marketing or related field.
· Two (2) or more years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within the quick service restaurant industry or franchise operations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Experience with managing multi-channel campaigns and supporting franchise networks is a plus.
· Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, email marketing software).
· Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and web analytics.
· Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
· Ability to create and manage content across various digital channels.
· Experience with email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
· Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data to drive decision-making.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Positive attitude and the ability to build positive relationships with franchisees, third-party business partners, and colleagues.
Work Environment
· This position reports to the VP of Franchise Sales.
· This is a full-time, exempt role with benefits, offering the flexibility to work primarily from a remote location with travel to onsite conferences, meetings, and training based on the needs of the business.
· Ability to travel 50% of the time.
· Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands
· Able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
· Ability to maintain a stationary position for up to 10 hours.
· Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
· Ability to lift on a regular basis up to 50 pounds.
· Capable of performing a variety of movements including pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching, bending, and kneeling for up to 8-10 hours.

· Must have a valid Driver’s License.
· Must have valid vehicle insurance.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $65k-$70k annually and will be determined based on experience and demonstrated success.
