We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Franchise Manager to drive our national expansion and support the success of our franchise partners.
Job Summary
The Franchise Manager will be the cornerstone of our franchise network, acting as the primary link between the Vaidhya Organisation and our esteemed franchise partners. This role is responsible for the entire franchise lifecycle, from identifying and onboarding new franchisees to providing ongoing operational support, ensuring brand consistency, and driving profitability across the network. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship management skills and a proven track record in franchise operations, preferably within the healthcare or wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Franchise Development & Expansion:
- Spearhead the expansion of the Vaidhya Organisation's franchise network in targeted regions across India.
- Manage the franchise lead generation pipeline, from initial inquiry to signing the franchise agreement.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective franchisees to ensure alignment with our brand values and financial requirements.
- Assist potential franchisees with business plan development, site selection analysis, and financial projections.
- Negotiate franchise agreements and ensure all legal and contractual obligations are met.
2. Onboarding & Training:
- Oversee the entire setup process for new franchise locations, ensuring they are launched successfully and on schedule.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for franchisees and their staff on our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product knowledge, patient care protocols, sales techniques, and brand standards.
- Provide hands-on support during the initial launch phase of a new clinic/outlet.
3. Operational Support & Performance Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all existing franchisees, providing timely guidance and support.
- Conduct regular site visits and operational audits to ensure compliance with brand standards, quality of service, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of each franchise, including revenue, profitability, patient footfall, and customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with franchisees to develop and implement strategies to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
- Assist franchisees in developing and executing local marketing and promotional campaigns.
4. Relationship Management & Communication:
- Foster strong, positive, and trust-based relationships with all franchise partners.
- Act as a mediator to resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the franchise network.
- Facilitate regular communication through meetings, newsletters, and performance review calls to keep franchisees informed and engaged.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports on the franchise network to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in franchise management, business development, or multi-unit retail management.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare, wellness, pharmaceuticals, or Food & Beverage (F&B) franchise sector is highly preferred.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L statements, financial metrics, and the fundamentals of running a small business.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to mentor and motivate franchise owners.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and analytical problem-solver with the ability to handle complex situations with diplomacy.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the country (up to 60% of the time).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in launching and managing Ayurvedic or wellness clinic franchises.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian healthcare and wellness market.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards in India.
