Role Purpose
The Fraud Officer will be responsible for safeguarding all revenue streams by detecting, investigating, and preventing telecom fraud. The role ensures revenue protection, regulatory compliance, and preservation of brand reputation and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to alerts generated by Fraud Management systems, exception reports, system logs, customer complaints, and whistleblower reports
- Monitor system access controls across key platforms such as HSS, SDP, AIR, VS, CRM, Billing, ERP, MPLS
- Evaluate new products, services, and system changes to assess fraud risks prior to launch
- Review and monitor audit logs and provisioning platforms to ensure proper audit trails
- Segregate fraud cases from bad debt scenarios
- Fine-tune Fraud Management systems and controls for improved accuracy
- Develop and execute PLSQL queries for monitoring and control validation
- Analyze anomalies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Provide internal control recommendations to prevent revenue leakage
- Coordinate with Billing, Credit Control, Provisioning, Sales, Contact Center, Switching, and other business units
- Prepare reports and present findings within defined timelines
- Report identified fraud incidents in the Incident Tracking System
- Work in a 24x7 shift environment

- Required Experience and Qualifications
- 6–7 years of experience in Telecom Fraud Management
- Strong knowledge of telecom SOPs, products, fraud scenarios, and risk management
- Expertise in telecom OSS/BSS systems including MSS, IN nodes (HXC, CCN, SDP VS), HSS, PGW, SGW, GGSN, DSL, PSTN, SMSC, mediation and billing systems
- Experience operating major Fraud Management systems
- Strong proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, and MS Access
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or related field
- CFE certification is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
