Freelance Concert Videographer

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced freelance videographer to capture live concert footage at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. This role focuses on shooting high-quality, dynamic footage of performances, the venue atmosphere, and audience energy to support ongoing marketing and recap content. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for live music and experience working in fast-paced, low-light environments.

Responsibilities

o Capture live concert performances with a focus on musicians, crowd reactions, & venue ambiance

o Shoot cinematic b-roll of the space, audience, & event details

o Operate independently with minimal footprint during live shows

o Deliver organized raw footage promptly after each event (no editing required)

o Adapt quickly to changing lighting & live event conditions

Qualifications

o Proven experience filming live music or events

o Strong understanding of low-light shooting & concert environments

o Own professional camera gear (4K preferred) & audio capture capability (on-camera or ambient)

o Ability to shoot handheld and/or stabilized footage (gimbal preferred)

o Reliable, punctual, & comfortable working nights/weekends

o Must be able to travel to Woodstock, NY

o Experience shooting for music venues, festivals, or branded content

o Familiarity with documentary-style or run-and-gun shooting

o Basic understanding of live audio environments

Deliverables

o Raw footage of performances, venue, & crowd b-roll

o Organized file structure for easy post-production use

o Delivery within 24–72 hours after the event

Compensation: Day/Show Rate commensurate with experience.
