Freelance Graphic Designer (Contract)

DHD Films is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to support a range of creative projects across proposals, marketing, brand, and video-related design work. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and can create strong visual work across print, digital, presentation, and motion-based formats.

The freelance Graphic Designer will collaborate with account managers, art directors, producers, animators, and clients as needed to develop clear, engaging, and visually polished creative assets. The work includes supporting brand expression, communicating complex ideas visually, and helping deliver high-quality creative materials across multiple project types.

Scope of Work:

- Create graphic design solutions for proposals, sales materials, and pitch deck presentations that support business development efforts.

- Develop style frames and concept visuals that help establish tone, direction, and visual language for projects.

- Design collateral such as brochures, email graphics, illustrations, lower thirds, title cards, full-screen graphics, and other visual assets for digital and video use.

- Translate complex or technical information into clear, visually engaging design.

- Review work for visual quality, consistency, and accuracy before delivery.

- Incorporate internal and client feedback into revisions and final deliverables.

- Sketch or communicate early design concepts when needed to align on creative direction.

- Manage multiple assignments while staying aligned on scope, deadlines, and priorities.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of professional design experience.

- Strong command of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.

- Experience preparing files for print, digital, and motion environments.

- Familiarity with storyboards, sequencing, and visual storytelling.

- Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional creative and production teams.

- Interest in exploring AI tools as part of an evolving design workflow.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat; familiarity with Figma is helpful, and After Effects or motion design experience is a plus.

- Strong PowerPoint design skills.

Engagement Details:

- This is a freelance/contract opportunity.

- Work will be assigned on a project-by-project or as-needed basis.

- Availability for periodic check-ins during active projects is preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
