Job Title: Biostatistician – Clinical Tools & Software Support

Job Purpose:
The Biostatistician will provide statistical and analytical expertise to support the design, development, validation, and implementation of clinical decision-support tools within clinic management software. The role ensures that all clinical calculations, growth charts, and analytical models are accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with established medical guidelines and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
• Formal training in medical statistics or clinical research methodology
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in biostatistical analysis within healthcare, clinical research, or public health settings
• Prior exposure to clinical decision-support systems or medical software is an advantage

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Strong proficiency in R and SAS for clinical and biostatistical analysis
• Working knowledge of SPSS/STATA for epidemiological data analysis
• Experience using Python and SQL to implement statistical logic and manage datasets
• Expertise in growth chart development using WHO/CDC standards and LMS methods
• Solid understanding of regression models, risk score calculations, and survival analysis
• Ability to create clear clinical visualizations and reproducible statistical reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate clinical calculation modules, risk models, and growth charts
• Translate evidence-based statistical and epidemiological methods into software-ready algorithms
• Collaborate closely with software developers and clinical teams to ensure correct implementation
• Review and verify statistical outputs for accuracy, robustness, and clinical relevance
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations for clinical and regulatory review
• Support ongoing enhancement of clinical tools based on updated medical guidelines and evidence
