Freelance Photographer/Videographer/Drone Pilot

Next Door Photos (“NDP”) is a small business with a local owner, focused on delivering real estate photography, video, aerials, 3D modeling, floor plans, and much more! JOB POSITION:

We are a growing team of professional, reliable, and talented "Media Pros" representing the NDP brand to our customers and achieving high-quality results in the media we capture. The position has flexible hours and the opportunity to increase your photography and media experience. This fast paced role has high earning potential and can increase with the completion of product certifications with our entire line of product offerings and increased appointment availability. Media Pros may capture 1-6 properties a day. Each property may take between 40 and 120 minutes to capture, (depending on order totals and property square footage). Media Pros are hired as part-time to full-time independent contractors (1099), and paid on a per-service/order basis, (photos, video, floor plans, aerials, etc.). Additional compensation for extended travels. Media Pros are responsible for capturing and uploading media, while NDP handles all of the editing and publishing to the client.

EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for moderately to highly experienced photographers, videographers, and aerial drone operators. Real Estate photography experience not required, but you must own the required equipment to perform the job. Media Pros are also trained on all products and services offered by NDP.

REQUIREMENTS:

Our goal is to establish a close-knit local team of media professionals, deployed quickly through online ordering systems to maximize service and product delivered to our amazing real estate clients. In addition to having the right equipment, you must:

• Be able to professionally interact with clients and homeowners
• Be able to arrive on site early, prepped and ready to facilitate scheduled shoots in various locations
• Be able to dress professionally while on the job
• Be able to upload media before 6 PM (day of the shoot), or before 9 PM on late shoots
• Have a flexible schedule
• Keep a Google calendar with availability constantly up to date
• Drive up to 30-40% of the workday
• Follow the NDP shoot flow and standards consistently providing a high-quality product
• Communicate effectively with the client throughout the shoot
• Communicate regularly with the Local Owner and/or clients via email, text message, and phone
• Be able to eventually study and test to obtain a Part 107 certification, (fly a drone commercially)
• Be able to receive regular feedback/training pertaining to NDP standards of quality and professionalism

EQUIPMENT LIST: (Required = REQ; Optional = OPT)

• REQ: Digital SLR (or mirrorless) camera and a Wide-Angle Lens such as:
• REQ: APS-C (cropped) sensor camera with a 10-24mm Lens OR Full Frame sensor camera with 16-35mm Lens
• REQ: Tripod and ball head attachment
• REQ: Reliable Transportation
• REQ: High-Speed Internet
• OPT: 3D Camera, (Ricoh or 360), along with monopod
• OPT: Phone gimbal for video
• OPT: Part 107 license and drone shooting true vertical

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
