We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creatively charged environment. You’ll need to stay organized amid the chaos, remain calm under pressure, and be flexible with working hours when campaigns or events demand it.
The role requires a Dubai-based candidate who can work on-site with the client five days a week. You must have strong communication skills and a proven track record of leading social and digital initiatives for B2C brands. As the key liaison, you’ll build strong client relationships, manage day-to-day communication, and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Content

Conceptualize and brainstorm ongoing social and digital content, campaigns, and initiatives for clients alongside a wider client team

Meet with key stakeholders to take briefs, gather information, and conceptualize social media content into real posts

Translate content from English to Arabic and vice versa when required (not mandatory)

Create and edit compelling copy in both English and Arabic to form monthly content calendars, ad-hoc posts, and advertisements for social media and digital accounts

Post content to relevant social media accounts if required

Brief in creative requirements to the design and video production team for social and digital requirements

Conceptualized storyboards and managed video shoots for the client to supplement the content on social and digital channels. Manage the video shoot schedules, logistics, and execution

Work directly with influencers to plan posts or campaigns and ensure content is consistent with client's brand and message

Capture, create, and post live content from events when required
Strategy
-
Use data, insights, and global best practices to create and update social and digital strategies for clients

Create and update social and digital media playbooks, response banks, and guidelines
-
Work alongside LMTD’s paid media and analytics team to create targeted local, regional, and global paid media and digital advertising strategies

Create and present to clients a reporting template and structure, and manage its completion from start to finish with buy-in and contribution from all relevant departments

Work with the OCM team to create community management processes that satisfy client targets, developing crisis management plans and contingencies to support

Actively grow and educate employees’ knowledge of social media to ensure new trends and best practices are being followed

Attend client meetings and be the gatekeeper of social and digital for their online presence
Account Management

Liaise with client representatives daily through email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings
-
Professionally and effectively present monthly reports, campaign strategy, and data to clients

Complete monthly account progress trackers, including but not limited to post numbers, paid media spend, account budget, and invoices

Own the project management tools and provide visibility to clients

Follow up on invoicing and finance requests when necessary.

Required to work from client offices in Abu Dhabi for 5 working days/week, following client working hours and exceeding if the client has requirements to meet KPI’s

Certain days where coordination is required could be worked from LMTD offices in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi

Attend client events during working hours and weekends (when required) for gathering and posting content
Experience, Education, and Skills:

4-6 years of relevant account management/oversight experience in a marketing/digital agency or consultancy

A Bachelor’s degree (Major in Marketing/Communication preferred)

Familiarity with Google Apps, Slack, Brandwatch, and Hootsuite is strongly preferred

Time management, communication, and organization are your biggest strengths

Planning, tracking, and managing client financials is never a daunting task

Arabic proficiency is a plus

A UAE driving license is essential
