About Us

Star Gallery Mart is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing retail and e-commerce companies. We publish daily content across all major social media platforms and are hiring a creative and skilled Remote Video Editor to work closely with our in-house videographer & marketing team.

You will receive daily raw footage and must deliver high-quality, engaging videos suitable for social media, ads, and promotions.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive raw video files daily
• Edit 7 to 10 professional videos per day
• Ensure videos follow our brand style & marketing direction
• Apply revisions requested by the marketing team
• Coordinate closely with the videographer and marketing manager
• Submit videos daily without delay

Payment Structure

Payment is based on the number of videos accepted by the Marketing Manager.
(Only approved videos are counted for payment.)

Required Editing Software Skills

The candidate must be able to work on at least the following tools:

• CapCut
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Canva

Video Requirements (Important for Assessment)

Applicants must edit a sample video using the raw footage provided to show their skill level.

Your Task (Sample Test Video)

Using the raw file above, create a video that meets the following criteria:

1. Duration:

• 15–30 seconds (short-form)

2. Theme:

• A creative concept featuring an electric lamp for the camping season

3. Caption:

• Must include an English caption

4. Animation:

• Include simple animation or motion graphics

5. Focus:
Highlight in a clear and engaging way:
✔ The lamp’s purpose
✔ The lamp’s design
✔ The lamp’s unique value
✔ Use trendy music and modern edits
✔ Choose at least ONE of our app/website features and show it inside the video (e.g., Flash Sale, COD, Delivery, App Interface, Categories, Website view, etc.)

• Strong experience in short-form and social media editing
• Ability to deliver fast without compromising quality
• Creative mindset & strong trend awareness
• Ability to match brand identity
• Must provide a portfolio + the sample test video
