Freelance Videographer + Editor (Speaking Event – Purchase College)

We’re looking for a skilled videographer to capture our Founder during a live speaking engagement at a College near White Plains, NY on April 15th. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands storytelling, social media, and polished post-production and is looking to build a relationship with a startup.

Details:

• Location: Purchase College (SUNY)
• Date: April 15th
• Call Time: 8:30 AM EST (sharp)
• Duration: ~3–5 hours (estimate) Will negotiate for additional editing time

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality video of a live speaking engagement
• Film supporting content (b-roll, audience reactions, environment)
• Ensure clean audio capture (mic setup/monitoring is a plus)
• Edit footage into short-form and long-form content optimized for social media

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong portfolio (events, speakers, or social-first content preferred)
• Skilled in editing for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Creative eye for framing, lighting, and storytelling
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to move fast and deliver clean, engaging edits

Bonus:

• Experience filming founders, educators, or live talks
• Ability to turn content around quickly
