Freight Broker

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the shipment of goods between shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, tracking freight, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of transportation and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and transportation carriers
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts to maximize profitability
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients
• Resolve transportation issues, delays, and claims promptly
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6 month to 1 year of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation
• Strong negotiation and sales skills
• Knowledge of freight types (FTL, LTL, intermodal, reefer, flatbed, etc.)
• Familiarity with load boards and freight platforms (e.g., DAT Solutions, Truckstop.com)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
