Logistics Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive with a strong background in freight brokerage operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, negotiating freight rates, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day freight brokerage operations.
• Source and negotiate rates with carriers and transportation providers.
• Coordinate domestic/international shipments (FTL, LTL, air, ocean, etc.).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients.
• Track shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Resolve freight issues such as delays, damages, or billing discrepancies.
• Prepare freight quotes and provide competitive pricing to customers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to maximize margins.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in freight brokerage or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of FTL, LTL, and freight market pricing.
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing freight contracts.
• Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Knowledge of freight compliance regulations.
• Strong analytical and cost-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software.
