Responsibilities

• Find and book profitable freight
• Negotiate rates with brokers
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments
• Dispatch drivers and provide load details
• Track shipments and provide updates
• Maintain accurate records in TMS
• Represent the company professionally

What We Expect

• Ability to consistently secure $3.00+ per mile loads
• Strong negotiation skills
• Understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Knowledge of freight markets and lanes
• Ability to maximize profit per truck (not just load count)

Important Guidelines

• No double brokering or working with fraudulent brokers
• Must follow FMCSA safety compliance
• Cannot pressure drivers to violate Hours of Service
• Must prioritize assigned trucks

Independent Contractor Role

This is a 1099 position, meaning:

• You control your schedule
• You may work with other carriers (no conflict of interest)
• You are responsible for your own taxes
