Freight Forwarding Pricing Specialist

Job Purpose :- Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for freight forwarding services. The role work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure that pricing is competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Develop and implement pricing strategies for freight forwarding services (mainly ocean freight).
• Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers.
• Analyze pricing data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals to network, sales & commercial team.
• Monitor market conditions and competitors' pricing.

Qualification Experience & Skills :-

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1:3 years of experience in freight forwarding-Ocean freight division.
• Strong understanding of pricing principles and strategies, and shipping lines routes and services.
• V. Good English Language skills
• V. Good Presentation skills
• V. Good Communication Skills
• Able to manage clients
• V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• V. Good Customer services skills.
• V. good Negotiation and persuasion skills
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Able to cope with high work pressure.
