Freight Operations Executive – Import/Export

Job Summary:

An Import Operations Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end import logistics operations, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of cargo from origin to final destination. The role involves close coordination with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs authorities, transporters, and clients to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of imported shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle import shipments (sea, air, and land) from pre-arrival to final delivery
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and vendors
• Prepare, review, and process import documentation including BL/AWB, invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, etc.
• Liaise with customs clearing agents to ensure timely customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company SOPs
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to clients
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational issues efficiently
• Arrange inland transportation and final delivery to consignees
• Maintain accurate shipment records, costing, and billing information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Good communication skills with strong English fluency (written & verbal)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in import operations or freight forwarding (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Shift Timing: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
