Responsibilities:
- Attending to customers or colleagues inquiries/complaints for freight rates/pricing/shipments
- Acknowledge and follow up on shipment booking and tracking shipment status.
- Update internal Ops/Sales team of booking confirmation.
- Scrutiny of documents right after receiving from associates and informing discrepancies to the customers ( if any ).
- Conducting and retaining freight sales and to develop / secure incremental growth in revenue and market share from new and existing business
- Analyzing market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Developing and maintaining a database of competitive rates and pricing information.
- Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for clients based on their specific requirements.
- Working closely with sales teams to provide pricing support and guidance.
- Ensuring that quotations are aligned with company policies and profitability guidelines.
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Preparing regular reports on pricing activity, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
