Job Purpose

The Operations Manager – Freight will oversee and manage all freight forwarding activities, ensuring efficient shipment coordination, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery. This role involves leading the freight operations team, optimizing processes, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, ocean, and land modes
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely and smooth shipments
• Monitor and resolve operational issues related to freight movements
• Ensure compliance with international and local freight regulations
• Lead, train, and supervise the freight operations team
• Analyze freight costs and operational data to identify process improvements
• Maintain excellent client relationships and address any freight-related concerns
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support customer requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
• Proven experience in freight forwarding operations management
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office applications
