Job Description – PPC Trainee / PPC Engineer (Freshers)

Position: PPC Trainee / Junior PPC Engineer

Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Qualification:

B.E. Mechanical Engineering (No Arrears)

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (No Arrears)

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Freshers to join our PPC Department. The role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery and efficient workflow. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn manufacturing and planning processes.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn PPC tools/software.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and stores departments for smooth workflow.
• Track production progress and update records in the PPC system.
• Monitor material availability and raise requirements when needed.
• Support in preparing job cards, work orders, and scheduling documents.
• Analyse delays or bottlenecks and report to the PPC team.
• Maintain documentation related to production planning and control.
• Ensure alignment with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
