Patients in Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Lake, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Trumbull counties are eagerly awaiting your support!

At Harmony Hospice Care, we're committed to fostering harmony of mind, body, and soul for our patients and their families. Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help us provide quality and compassionate care to those in need.

Volunteer Activities Include:

• Providing companionship and friendly support to patients through chatting, reminiscing, playing games, or other joyful activities
• Collecting life stories and special memories for journals, memory boards, and art projects
• Sending encouraging letters and cards
• Assisting with light household chores or running errands
• Calling patients and their families to check on needs
• Supporting administrative duties at our Beachwood and Youngstown offices
• Crafting blankets, quilts, pillows, and other items for our patients
• Providing support to bereaved families through mailings, phone calls, and in-home grief support visits
• Representing Harmony Hospice Care at Community Outreach and Special Events, including engaging with residents at nursing homes and participating in activities at festivals and fairs

Qualifications:

• Availability of time and skills relevant to your selected volunteer activity
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Empathy and compassion
• Completion of background check, TB test, physical, and training provided by Harmony Hospice Care
