Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression and fostering guest relations throughout their stay.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the booking system.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct night audits as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
• Operate multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing calls efficiently.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
• Maintain front desk appearance and ensure all areas are clean and organized.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel
• Marriott experience PMS with preferred
• management or front desk operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
• Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed in a resort environment.
