Front Desk Receptionist - Bilingual (Arabic & English)

Role Overview

We are seeking a bilingual (Arabic & English) Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for our company, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and employees. In addition to managing front-desk operations, this role will also provide administrative support during onsite events, ensuring smooth coordination and excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Greet and welcome visitors in both Arabic and English in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage visitor check-ins, issue visitor passes, and notify staff of arrivals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

Communication Management

  • Answer, screen, and forward calls in Arabic and English.
  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, directing them appropriately.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and courier services.

Administrative & Event Support

  • Provide administrative support to office operations and HR when required.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and maintaining records.
  • Support the coordination and logistics of onsite events, including welcoming guests, managing registration, handling event materials, and assisting the events team.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers during events when necessary.

Office Coordination

  • Monitor office supplies and ensure reception and common areas are stocked.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and facility providers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Support other departments with ad-hoc administrative requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or Administrative Assistant (event support experience preferred).
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general office equipment.
  • Professional appearance and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to support onsite events outside standard office hours when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
