Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to provide accurate information to guests.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
• Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
• Uphold the hotel's standards for cleanliness and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A friendly, approachable personality with a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
