Customer service is significant to this position in the hospitality business and the manner used is important to both the customer and team members. This position requires you to use a computer and input data entry. Must be able to multi-task and handle customers with a relaxed manner even when under stress.

You represent the hotel and our philosophy, and therefore have the authority to react to guest problems while on duty.

Must be able to perform assigned duties and work with minimal supervision.

Executes guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment and service procedures as outlined in brand training materials and in compliance with brand quality assurance standards

  • Proficient in administration of applicable property management system
  • Complies with uniform, identification, dress and grooming standards
  • Maintains a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and coworkers
  • Maintains presence at desk during all hours of operation and communicates effectively with individuals inside and outside the facility
  • Responds quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
  • Responds to any guest or security issues according to training
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of local attractions and amenities in order to provide service to guests needing such information
  • Ensures front desk and office (including files) are maintained in clean and organized manner
  • Ensures collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with Company policies
  • Maintains proper control over keys, safe deposits, all Company and guest property, and confidentiality.
  • Ensures reservations are accepted according to Company and brand policies
  • Ensures that occupancy is maximized
  • Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform assigned duties and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain standing at assigned post for extended periods of time
  • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Front Desk by telephone or in person
  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous, to think clearly and quickly, and to work well under pressure while also multitasking
  • Ability to ensure security of the hotel
  • Candidate with possible flexibility to fill in shifts 3PM - 11PM, 7AM - 3 PM as well when needed.
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
