Front Desk Agent

Overview

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while ensuring smooth daily front desk operations. Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or hotel operations is preferred, but we value strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude above all. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced professional environment where your role directly impacts guest satisfaction and overall hotel success.

Duties

  • Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner during check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage guest reservations, room assignments, and payment processing accurately
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries regarding hotel services, rates, and availability
  • Resolve guest concerns, complaints, or special requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all information is properly entered into the hotel system
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor lobby and front desk areas to maintain cleanliness and professionalism
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, cash-handling standards, and security protocols
  • Assist with daily reports, shift balancing, and other administrative front desk duties as assigned
  • Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and hotel amenities to guests

Skills

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling reservations and payments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light administrative tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
