We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The Front Desk Agent will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and address any inquiries or concerns to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and in-person requests.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest relations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with guests over the phone.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations and teamwork within the hotel staff.
