Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guest in a friendly, prompt and professional matter
- Answer phone in a prompt and courteous manner
- Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
- Knowledgeable about the hotel; room types, room locations, room rates, etc.
- Communicate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all late check-outs, early check-ins and special request
- Communicate guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division
- Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue
- Accurately process all credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures: posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, handling deposits
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow - up
- Properly handling guest complaints; being able to make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction
- Promote Team Work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
