Guest Service Agent / Night Audit

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and guest-focused team member to join our hotel in a combined Guest Service Agent / Night Audit role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include overnight shifts.

This role supports daily front desk operations as well as overnight audit responsibilities, helping ensure a smooth guest experience around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
• Take, record, cancel reservations and manage wake-up calls
• Answer phones promptly and courteously
• Maintain accurate guest folios and daily paperwork
• Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions
• Prepare audit reports, deposits, and summaries
• Verify room rates and charges for accuracy
• Monitor room availability and handle special guest requests
• Prepare and replenish breakfast items during overnight shifts
• Maintain cleanliness of the front desk, lobby, and public areas
• Assist with folding linens and light housekeeping tasks as needed
• Follow emergency procedures and hotel policies
• Support guest satisfaction and service score goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, especially during overnight shifts
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable attendance and professional appearance
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40–60 lbs

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
