Front Desk Associate

Boutique Reformer Pilates studio is looking for part-time Front Desk Associates for a new studio location in Soho.

We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes who have experience working in a fast-paced service business and with high-end clientele. It is very important that our front desk representatives have a happy and positive energy and must love sharing that energy with the other instructors and clients. Must be able to upsell services to new and existing clients.

Applicant Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written, verbal/phone and strong organizational skills.

-Basic math skills and Mac/Apple computer experience.

-Reception experience in a fitness studio, spa, music studio, high-traffic office, or salon.

-Attention to detail is a MUST.

-Must be a natural-born problem solver and address issues in a timely manner.

-Project management skills.

-Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.

-Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and work alone

-Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

-Positive and self-motivated.

- Ability to work efficiently without needed supervision.

-Must be a person who is always smiling and works to build relationships with our clients

-Must be an individual who is at all times professional, punctual, reliable, proactive, patient and friendly

Experience Requirements:

-Experience working in a busy environment while maintaining a professional, composed and positive attitude

-Experience upselling services

-Experience working as a receptionist/front desk

-Experience working on a Mac

-If you have MindBody CRM experience that is a PLUS!

Job Responsibilities Include:

The Front desk representative is responsible for greeting all clients, taking and making calls, scheduling new prospects, and successfully explaining what the Studio has to offer in terms of services in detail. They must maintain knowledge of all services and prices offered by the Studio.

- Scheduling Appointments: must be spatially aware of not booking too many appointments without room available for them.

- Ensure all appointments are booked evenly amongst all the instructors.

- Maintain a working knowledge of all services offered by each instructor

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the studio

- Enforce cancellation policies and follow up on leads as needed (Yes, selling!).

- Maintain the reception area with a clean, tidy presentation.

- Cleaning the reformers once/week and vacuuming the hallway

- Consistent follow up with clientele
