Front Desk Clerk

We are looking for a Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Lodge Alley Inn Resort in Charleston. In this position, you will ensure every interaction with an owner or guest is a positive and memorable experience while checking them in and out of the property and responding to their requests. Schedule Details: Full - Time; Must be able to work one of the following shifts: 7AM - 3PM, 11AM - 7PM, or 3PM - 11PM.

What will I be doing:

  • Greets guests and owners on arrival.
  • Check in/out guests.
  • Generates folio and collects payments.
  • Receives housekeeping and maintenance requests or work orders and contacts accurate departmental personnel.
  • Prepares and consistently restocks the front desk with supplies including preparing arrival packets and area information.
  • Answering phones and directing calls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience, preferred.
  • A professional demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize.
