Front Desk Guest Services

Destin West Vacation Rentals is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate

Associate to join our team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for both guests and property owners, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced vacation rental environment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

• Greet and assist vacation guests upon arrival and departure
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and special requests
• Ensure guests have an exceptional stay by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Provide local information, recommendations, and assistance with activities

Owner Relations:

• Communicate with property owners regarding bookings, maintenance needs, and guest feedback
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each property and owner preferences
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure units meet owner standards

Front Desk Operations:

• Manage phone and email communications in a courteous and efficient manner
• Handle payment processing, account balances, and daily reports
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming
• Utilize reservation and property management software to update booking information and records

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Escapia and breezeway knowledge a plus
• Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment; experience with property management systems is a plus
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
