Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Staff member to serve as the first point of contact for our practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves managing front office operations, coordinating appointments, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to patient care.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and providing accurate information to callers.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic calendar management tools.
  • Handle data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate patient records and appointment logs.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence.
  • Utilize computer skills across platforms including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for administrative tasks.
  • Maintain office organization by managing supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting overall office management activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously while practicing proper phone etiquette.

Experience

  • Prior office management or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multi-line phone systems and computer literacy across various software applications.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
  • Experience in clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and bookkeeping enhances suitability for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal assistant or office support experience that includes calendar management and time management skills is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific software.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
