Position Overview:

You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient reception experience. The role involves managing patient registration, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and upholding hospital service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors courteously upon arrival.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately in the hospital management system.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments in coordination with doctors and departments.
  • Manage telephone inquiries, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and provide relevant information.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle billing inquiries, collect payments, and issue receipts as required.
  • Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and data protection regulations.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and record management.
  • Manage daily attendance sheets, visitor logs, and front desk reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in front desk, customer service, or hospital reception roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software (e.g., HIS, EMR).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Presentable appearance and courteous demeanor.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
