We are looking for a well-groomed, friendly hotel front desk to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online,Walk-in and telephonic bookings, and verifying guests' payment methods during check-in. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Checking guests in and out.
- Receiving and managing reservations made online,Walk-in and telephonically.
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Obtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Accept and record wake-up call requests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements and skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in front desk operations in hotel, customer service, or a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic, French, or other languages is a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse guests.
- Customer Service: A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Experience with hotel reservations software, PMS
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and Expedia
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must have flexible hours.
