Front Desk Receptionist

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Receptionist provides all front desk responsibilities with responding to phone calls and greeting and directing guests. This role is the first impression when any guests or vendors visits or arrives on the campus. Provides administrative support with copying, scanning, printing, mail and student payments.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Receptionist will be responsible, but not limited to, the duties and tasks listed below:

  • Answers, responds, routes all phones calls and voicemail messages to campus staff.
  • Greets and directs guests to appropriate locations on campus.
  • Makes guest feel welcome with positive customer service.
  • Sorts and delivers mail to campus staff. Handles postage machine.
  • Provides and posts student payments in Campus Nexus.
  • Provides receipts to students.
  • Provides administrative support including copying, scanning, printing as needed.
  • Keeps front desk organized, neat and presentable.
  • Provides administrative support for Campus President and Academic Dean as needed with Campus Administrative Assistant.
  • Assists with admissions testing for TEAS and AccuPlacer.
  • Updates the CRM and SIS with accurate applicant or enrollment information.
  • Provides grading DLRA (Digital Learning Readiness Assessment) testing.
  • Supports and maintains our enterprise, student-centered enrollment workflows and processes.
  • Follows and adheres to the compliance, regulatory, and procedural processes.
  • Commits to achieving team start goals by actively supporting the team towards success.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service, receptionist, and/or administrative support services.
  • Proficient computer skills is required in Word, Excel, database software and use of Internet.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, organized, ethical, and a team player.
  • Must be professional and maintain confidentiality of employee information and campus records.

  • Must be flexible to work earlier or later shifts as needed.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
