Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient atmosphere. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document proofreading.
  • Manage calendars for scheduling appointments.
  • Handle correspondence and mail distribution.
  • Utilize our emails for basic medical records as needed.
  • Assist with office supplies inventory management and ordering.
  • Support other administrative staff with various tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in office software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of phone systems and office equipment operation.
  • Attention to detail with strong proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
