Front Desk Receptionist

Overview
Fox River MedSpa is seeking an experienced, polished, and client-focused Front Desk Receptionist to be the face of our spa. This role is ideal for someone who understands the flow of a busy medspa, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident in both guest experience and membership sales. The ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients, including bilingual skills, is highly valued.

You will play a key role in creating a seamless, high-end experience for every client—from the moment they walk into the moment they leave—while also supporting daily operations behind the scenes.

Duties

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all clients, ensuring a luxury-level guest experience
  • Confidently recommend and sell memberships, packages, and services based on client needs
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and provider coordination efficiently
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and handle client communication with excellent etiquette
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area at all times
  • Laundry (linens, towels, robes) to maintain continuous flow of services
  • Stocking supplies and supporting inventory organization
  • Work closely with providers to keep schedules running smoothly and on time
  • Handle client check-in/check-out, payments, and basic administrative tasks accurately
  • Help maintain a positive, team-oriented environment and step in wherever needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a receptionist in a medspa, spa, dermatology, or aesthetics setting (strongly preferred)
  • Proven success or comfort with membership sales, product sales, or upselling services
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while staying organized and composed
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable performing both front desk duties and hands-on operational support (cleaning, laundry, room turnover)
  • Experience with scheduling software
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clients and visitors more effectively
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems, filing systems, and general office management practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in proofreading and data entry tasks
