Front Desk Receptionist

Job Title: Dental Front Office Coordinator Monday, Wednesday, and Two Saturdays

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Office Coordinator to be the face of our practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Concierge: Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a professional reception area.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate complex appointments and optimize the daily provider schedule to ensure consistent patient flow.
  • Insurance & Billing: Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and explain treatment plans and co-pays to patients with clarity.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all patient information is kept strictly confidential per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communication: Handle multi-line phone systems, manage office emails, and follow up on patient inquiries or missed appointments.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a dental or medical front office (Dental preferred).
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with dental practice management software (we have Carestack) and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a "patient-first" mentality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of dental terminology and insurance billing codes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.42 - $31.61 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
