Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Perform order entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Assist with receptionist duties, including insurance verification and billing
- Provide clerical support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Act as a personal assistant to the office manager or doctor as needed
- Transcribe notes, memos, and other documents accurately
- Provide exceptional customer support to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a doctors office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
- Professional demeanor with a customer service-oriented approach
