Front Desk Receptionist

Part-Time Receptionist (Beauty Industry Experience Preferred)

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist with a background in the beauty industry to manage our front desk. This role is the first point of contact for our guests, so strong presentation, communication skills, and a warm, welcoming attitude are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Answering phone calls and responding to client inquiries about services
• Booking, rebooking, and managing appointments
• Processing payments and handling point-of-sale transactions
• Providing administrative and clerical support across the organization
• Managing front desk operations and coordinating daily activities
• Assisting with social media and creating content using Canva
• Counting and managing inventory, accepting packages, organizing and putting materials away after arrival. This may include some heavy lifting.
• Completing side work, light cleaning and assisting with in-store decorating
• Supporting overall studio operations as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in the beauty or wellness industry preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Pleasant, polished, and professional demeanor
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or emergency situations
• Basic computer skills and comfort with scheduling software and social media
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
