Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, checking pets in and out, asking questions on grooming their pets and relaying back to groomer managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills, be proficient in computer literacy, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients promptly with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage pets, and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendar management for staff.
  • Handle data entry, filing, and document notes for groomer.
  • Utilize MoeGo software program for scheduling
  • Support office management activities including, record keeping, and inventory management
  • Provide customer support via phone, or in person to address inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all office supplies are stocked and orderly
  • Assist with supporting personal assistant duties if required and light cleaning for Salon

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or as a receptionist who is knowledgeable with pets is a plus
  • Must be able to handle larger dogs to the kennel at drop off/pick up
  • Must be available to work Tuesday thru Friday. We all rely on each other here.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry tools
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting
  • Must be willing to work on Saturdays if needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
