Job Summary
Midgett & Fite, a faith-guided brokerage and property management company, is seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our organization. This role is vital in creating a positive first impression for visitors and clients looking to buy, sell, or rent while ensuring smooth daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, possess excellent communication skills, have an ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and demonstrate respect to all people while contributing to a healthy and growing team. You will serve as the central point of contact for phone and email inquiries, maintain accurate property records, and support office management functions to keep our workplace running seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally the first point of contact for leasing inquiries, vendor visits, collecting rent, and tenant maintenance requests.
- Answer phone systems with professionalism, directing calls accurately and courteously
- Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for staff and executives
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintain organized records using digital tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, phone calls, and packages
- Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing office supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the reception area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries efficiently and supporting clients in person or over the phone
- Support office management activities including calendar management, document preparation, and administrative support for various departments
Skills
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
- Computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office, Slack, and others
- Experience with professional phone etiquette to handle a variety of call types confidently
- Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse clients effectively
- Data entry skills with attention to detail; ability to proofread documents accurately
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a variable-paced environment
- Previous experience as a receptionist or office assistant is a plus
- Knowledge of office management practices including filing systems, calendar management, and personal assistant duties
