We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist/Optometry tech. to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our clients and visitors while providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are readily available.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing appointments using computerized systems.
- Perform preliminary tests for patients.
- Assist with administrative tasks for management, acting as a personal assistant when required.
- Ensure that all office supplies are stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
- Obtain insurance eligibility and filing claims.
- Input insurance payment accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an optometrist tech.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in verifying and filing vision insurance.
- Bilingual with Spanish preferable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
